Justin Clupper
Executive Director
Community Transportation Network
Justin Clupper succeeded Becky Weimerskirch as executive director of CTN on March 1, 2019, after serving on the CTN board since 2014. He has been a member of the Alliance for Human Services ever since.
CTN eases the burden of transportation for low-income seniors, people with disabilities, families, children, youth, and the organizations that serve them. It provides over 100,000 passenger trips per year to benefit over 8,000 individual riders. Trips ensure the rider’s access to programs, healthcare, recreation, and work.
Justin previously directed Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. signature programs like Leadership Fort Wayne and the GFW Fellows. His work at GFW has allowed him to connect with a diverse group of business and community leaders, fundraise through sponsorships and grant support, and manage cohorts of community leaders and college students.
A graduate of Taylor University, Justin also holds certificates in facilitative leadership and is certified by the Center for Creative Leadership. He is a graduate of Leadership Whitley County and the Leadership Institute directed by Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana. His free time is often spent with his wife, Jessica, and two children. Justin chairs the Transportation Planning Committee, is a member of the YLNI Foundation board and is a former board member for the Indiana Leadership Association and Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana.
What’s going on at CTN?
CTN has been greatly impacted by Covid-19 and social distancing recommendations. Most of our charter services by partner agencies have been cancelled through 2020. And our routes have been reduced to no more than three riders at one time. For some routes that had 10 – 12 riders at one time, this is a significant reduction in rider revenues.
Enough about work. How about you?
I’m usually gone for at least a week at the beginning of June, spending a week with my family at our timeshare in Fort Myers Beach. I’ve grown up going to this spot and love seeing my kids experience it. Other ways I like to recharge include spending time with friends over a good beer or bourbon. I’m also participating in Foellinger’s Executive Leader Lab this year and really enjoying it!
